ː 4 MINUTES READ

A while ago, a close friend asked how I keep up with content captions. Confidently I say, I started by writing it down. You can choose any ways to pen it. A random thought in your journal or well-thought-out paragraph on how you started.

Each of us has a unique story. Creating content and writing captions around your story allows you to fully embrace how far you’ve come. This also will give the audience a glimpse of who you are (if they are interested to know they will read) You see that? If he/she starts to read your caption intentionally, it means you are doing something that draws them to your story. Or in God’s world, there is favor in what you’re doing and sharing.

My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

// Proverbs 3:1-8

Today as I was packing one order at a time. I’ve learn to be as detailed as I can even when I know someone on the other side might tear it apart vigorously LOL. But I shall be as gentle and patient as I wait upon the Lord for another miracle

In the past two and half years, I was dealing with supernaturally that God works through time and space. Quite amazing no? While we attended church online, sermons and worship that are replayed or prerecorded before actual time was touching lives! The atmosphere of God was moving in my private room each time I play a worship song.

Your(God’s) faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

Psalms 119:90 ESV

At this point, all lined straight for me that it is not what I posted today that matters. It is what God can do with it for generations that appealed to me strongly. Thus, it is a reason that kept me going. I may not see any immediate results today but I want to trust God in His true power.

Miracles still happen today. What might have changed is our human craving to see immediate results; instant gratification that counts the number of views and likes we receive.

For a period of time, while creating SLC, I fell victim hoping for more likes and views, feeling upset when a post did not receive any responses. There was a season when I felt disposable and almost think I’d not make it. It was dark yet I still made the choice to redeem a glimpse hope at Jesus’ feet. Mulling over what can I do better. Asking Holy Spirit to talk to me. Declaring, “God, you move the mountains.”

Then, one day God spoke, He said to me:
Child, be still. Be faithful with the little. Stay a little longer and watch me do the rest.”

😭 I cried and I stayed focused. Namely, writing, painting, and learning, collecting as much knowledge, data, and evidence of God’s fingerprints through the word and the stories of people I’ve come to know. As soon as I started writing this blog, I was reminded of the divine appointments God has orchestrated. Knowing deep in my roots that I was called for His purpose.

Have you heard about Messenger International, a network of free Godly resources to help people define and refine their calling in life? This is one great testimony of what was written for years, pre-recorded, then shared with many. Each course presented God’s intention for me. It’s amazing. As if He was speaking to me directly. Highly recommended if you’re curious or confused by your calling.

Now did I answer your question? Every caption on SLC was poured out from my writings and experiences in the past and present. God can use you to reach out to many in His time. Have faith in God, not the algorithm that is ever-changing. Have faith in God because He is the only source that remains faithful.

“For the word of God will never fail.”

/ Luke 1:37 /

If you find yourself disappointed, refocus your mind to read His word and guard your heart against unnecessary emotions. Feel them but do not let them devour you. Instead, dwell back on God’s promises for you. And if you have them written, it is so much easier to turn back those pages and encourage yourself again.

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

/ Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT /

Captions you may use for your next post:

  1. You are not confined by natural time and space. God can still heal your past and restore you for the future.

  2. Don’t worry about tomorrow. God’s grace for tomorrow will be there when you get there.

  3. The Lord will show you great favor because He loves you.

  4. Be still and know that He is a good good Father.

  5. God can use you while He changes you.

Love this illustration of how Jesus work against the nature of time (abstract from Ps Joseph Prince sermon, The Lord of Time and Space)":

God directs in steps, small as they may be. Sometimes, the Lord may prompt you to go out and take a walk and get a breather. Q: “When was the last time you took a walk with Jesus?”

Whatever Jesus says to you, however He leads you, do it.

When Jesus turned water into wine, He compressed time.

FACTS:

A good bottle of quality wine takes many years to produce. First, you need to plant seeds in the ground and let the grapes grow, which takes 5–7 years. Then you need to extract the wine and keep it for 20–30 years for it to become good wine. At the wedding in Cana, we see how Jesus compressed time, turning water into the best wine in an instant.

This miracle is a sign to us that He’s the Lord of time.

Man can also produce excellent wine, but it takes much time and labor. This year, as you follow God’s ways, you’ll see the Lord accelerating, suspending, and reversing time in your favor. 🙌🏼
