Ever-present help

: existing or occurring at all times; always there (to save)

As I peered up into the crowd on the subway, many others with their heads bowing to their phones. I heard God. His presence overwhelmed me and I felt water whirled up in my eyes. “I am here, at this moment,” God whispered. It is so true that He is so omnipresent, we almost always misspelled the fact that He is always there - a gentle dove that hovers above us.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1 NIV

God speaks all the time, but it takes us to set aside a moment to listen for His still small voice. A similar scenario of how a child recognized the voice of their parents in the dark. A child knows to seek their parents in time of trouble. Even when we may not be physical in time to lift them up, they seem to know, you are there.

God speaks all the time, but it takes us to set aside a moment to listen for His still small voice.

Yes, I am writing from a perspective of too good to be true. Not everyone can harness this fact. You may not know God yet or lost faith for what’s unseen. All you have to do is be still, and get to know?

“Be still, and know that I am God;” Psalms 46:10a

It takes one small gesture to open up to a universe of much more. It may not seem visibly possible but in your daily commute, looking up into the skies just for a minute will bring to you a glimpse of wonder. That moment, is God showing you His beauty.

how can we not mention and wonder the beauty of this world without wondering who is the creator?*

*A profound meaning from a generation where we will surely google a person or a place out of curiosity.

I love to wander, I am in love with God's wonder. Even as I stroll the parks, listening to the chirping voices, my mind wanders towards the sweet sound. This is how our Heavenly Father echos His love through His creation. Like the many rainbows, we have witnessed in these two years. It’s enough to know God is still here, protecting His covenant for His beloved children.

God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” Genesis 1:26 mSG
