God is not done Yet
When you think it’s over, Heaven is still working on it. That’s the true measure of what it means to live on earth as it is in Heaven. I’m just going to jump straight to what God is saying to me.
#1 Heaven is ETERNAL
The word eternal means: lasting or existing forever; without end.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Genesis 1:1
Heavens here is a plural, not singular. This means there is much more than we think on earth. Why and how?
On the 5th day of Covid recovery, I was not feeling energized to do much. I was upset that I could not create anything and was financially uptight. Thank God for picking me back up to refocus. I started listening to Christian podcasts and reading to help me see Heaven more than this distressing moments.
One morning, I managed to get out of my apartment bright and early. I walked around my neighborhood in a war cry. Asking God to bring fresh anointing into my current situation. Boy, I was fired up!
The next best thing, I sat through four consecutive days, completed September’s PTV, two new Digital Collections, and writing this. I knew in my spirit it was a supernatural outpour of joy! Although I was still financially incapable, I saw God’s goodness in my life. I skimped a little, stayed in, and bought coffee pods instead of heading to the coffee shops. While, my coffee tastebuds were slowly recovering.
#2 Get ready for the next thing
There is greatness in our pursuit for Jesus. Imagine if we say yes to the life that we were called to do, wouldn’t we be making Heaven crowded? Now that reengaged with heavenly thoughts, let us keep seeking for more of Him.
Pray to listen. The Holy Spirit is constantly guiding our steps. Though we are to petition in our prayer, we need to tune our hearts to keep hearing from God. Sometimes the voice may seem too small, or the courage bigger than our yeses. Believing is all you need to keep walking in His righteousness.
Matthew 9:20-22 NLT
Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”
Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
Mark 5:25-35, explains the story this way:
For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?”
The woman heard about Jesus and thought, that as long as she touches Jesus’ robe, she’ll be healed. That was all that she processed, she believed and she acted on it. I love the part where Jesus felt His power left Him and that power already knew where it was going.
God always knows the next step, the next business strategy, the next miracle, and the healing needs.
God always knows the next step, the next business strategy, the next miracle, and the healing needs. I find Him preparing me in order to let the next time happen. This explains why I am often so excited for God to do it again (EVEN BETTER)!
#3 You need friends who believe in eternity too
We can’t continue this journey without people that also love God and can intercede on our behalf. We will constantly need a friend to check-in. Drawing our focus back to God whenever we are losing it. We are not meant to do life alone. As long as your circle of friends can build you up, you can use that faith to build others too!
“People loving people. My approach is this: If the vision for my life doesn’t require the help of others, its too small of a vision.”
Bill Johnson on The Way of Life
Greater love has no one than this,
that someone lay down his life for his friends.John 15:13
“But we have Christ, and we have one another, and by His Spirit, we understand that the image of Christ rescues us from ourselves. True friendship is seeing the face of Christ in another… “
- Zubair Simonson
The right friends will always encourage us to increase our faith. Simply because the testimonies are always too good to be kept aways. We never stop til the whole world knows of Jesus.
My prayer is that you’ll experience your true self – a child of God, created in His image, inheritance of His glory. The veil that was blinding you from His glory, is lifted! The light is on you!
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 8:12 ESV
