Knowing God in our Giving
Why is it so challenging to prioritize time and give to the Lord? Can we break free from this vicious cycle to live abundantly in God’s grace now and forever?
Change begins with small decisions
I just leave you with these thoughts and I hope that you’ll encounter God’s revelation to live well and make small decisions today to be a better version of you, the life that God intended for you.
In the Realm of Slow Courage
These are the words and themes God has placed on my heart as I craft 2024, envisioning the path for SLC. In these uncertain times, courage remains crucial in paving pathways for the future. Often, we mistakenly believe courage resembles bravery—a figure clad in armor charging into battle. Thankfully, God is different. He has conquered the toughest battle, and all we need to do is accept His victory.
City girl vs slow living
I find myself both excited and concerned with this ‘Snail Girl’ era. My concern lies in the possibility that this message might be misunderstood, potentially leading employers to perceive Gen Z as lazy. However, in the context of today's world, the concept of slowness appears to be entwined with self-care. It often translates into ending work earlier or taking days off to recharge from our constant mental battles.
What Is My Approach to Content Creation?
Did you know that I schedule almost every post? It's a life-saving feature that most platforms support, from Instagram to Pinterest. This allows me to embrace a slower approach and let content naturally unfold while still maintaining a consistent presence on social media. Sometimes I even forget what I've scheduled, but I trust that everything happens in God's timing. This systematic approach has been the most effective for me, and I can rest easy knowing that at least one of my platforms is generating engagement.
How to do more with less
As I return to the realm of social media, I am determined to channel my time and energy toward activities that enrich and nourish me. My pursuit has led me to embrace a creative approach that stems from abundance rather than scarcity. You'll notice that slow creatives is at the heart of my philosophy. To achieve more, we must learn to do less, in a culture that glorifies constant hustle.
One coffee at a time
The pressure to maintain a constant online presence on social media can feel unnatural and overwhelming for some creators.
Whenever you feel the need for a break, I'm here for you. If you simply need someone to talk to, I'm here as well. I will be here, supporting you, one coffee at a time.
Grace in the wilderness
I want my coffee to be bottomless because it was a rough morning and I have mixed feelings. But I do not want these feelings to dictate the work that needs to be done. Have you felt this way before?
Are you afraid of getting older?
“As we get older we become acutely aware of how quickly time is passing us by and how nothing stays the same forever.” Sadia, Pick Up Limes
Love over Fear
This Christmas, I hope you'll remember how DaddyGod woos you. It is His goodness that runs after you. The Bible says, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
Seize the moment
When I am in the most chaotic situation, and I need to get out alive, I’ll utter the words, “God, help me.” and I know immediately my atmosphere shifted. I know if God is for me, who can be against me?
God is not done Yet
Just when you think it’s over, Heaven is still working on it. That’s the true measure of what it means to live on earth as it is in Heaven. I’m just going to jump straight to what God is saying to me.
The Quality Of Quiet
Then there was stillness. I could only hear my breathing. Slowly, I found myself appreciating and easing towards these gentle moments - quiet.
not lost, just hidden
If you think you have wasted your youths; as if you are just passing through life, forgotten what it feels like to be young and free. I hope this passage from Sara Hagerty, Unseen will speak to you in your lostness and see God glorified in you.
2021, last weekend
2022 may sound like 2020; I hope you'll believe with me that there will be reasons for you to move forward. May you experience the joy and the grace to surrender. Get deeper and ask questions you have not so that as you’d live intentionally, and eventually find yourself walking closer to the river of life.
